🇲🇾 Malaysia was my second home for six years.
I went through storms I never imagined — working hard, enduring pain, and even abuse from the very hands that should’ve respected me. One day, I decided enough was enough. I took back my freedom and started over, processing my own permit through a friend and working as a freelance caregiver.

From Malaysia to Singapore and Thailand, I kept moving — chasing better pay, chasing peace. But behind every job and every smile was the heavy truth: the system was never kind to people like us.

Then came Brazil 🇧🇷 — a land I never thought I’d call home.
More than six years have passed now, and looking at my sons beside me, I know every tear, every risk, and every sacrifice was worth it.

Three years after arriving, I flew back to the Philippines to bring my firstborn. That moment — reuniting as a family — was the reward for all the years I held on. ❤️

Why Brazil?
Because here, I found dignity.
Because here, my documents don’t define my worth.
Because here, I can work and be a mother at the same time.
Because here, my children can study, play and dream freely.

Brazil gave me balance — family, work, health and peace of mind.
It gave me a new start, a second home and a heart full of gratitude.

Not perfect, but real.
Not easy, but free.

🇲🇾 A Malásia foi minha segunda casa por seis anos.

Passei por tempestades que jamais imaginei — trabalhei duro, suportei dores e até abusos vindos justamente de quem deveria ter me respeitado. Um dia, decidi que era o bastante. Tomei de volta minha liberdade, cuidei da minha própria documentação com a ajuda de um amigo e comecei a trabalhar como cuidadora freelancer.

Da Malásia para Singapura e Tailândia, eu segui em frente — em busca de um salário melhor, em busca de paz. Mas por trás de cada trabalho e de cada sorriso havia uma verdade pesada: o sistema nunca foi gentil com pessoas como nós.

Então veio o Brasil 🇧🇷 — um país que eu jamais imaginei chamar de lar.

Já se passaram mais de seis anos e, olhando para meus filhos ao meu lado, sei que cada lágrima, cada risco e cada sacrifício valeram a pena.

Três anos depois de chegar aqui, voltei às Filipinas para buscar meu primogênito.

Aquele momento — o reencontro da nossa família — foi a recompensa por todos os anos em que resisti. ❤️

Por que o Brasil?

Porque aqui eu encontrei dignidade.

Porque aqui meus documentos não definem meu valor.

Porque aqui posso trabalhar e ser mãe ao mesmo tempo.

Porque aqui meus filhos podem estudar, brincar e sonhar livremente.

O Brasil me deu equilíbrio — família, trabalho, saúde e paz de espírito.

Me deu um novo começo, uma segunda casa e um coração cheio de gratidão.

Não é perfeito, mas é real.

Não é fácil, mas é livre.
