***English 🇲🇾 Why am I choosing to stay in Brazil 🇧🇷 — for good? Not because Brazil is perfect, but because here there is dignity, legality and a real future — especially for my children. 1️⃣ For my children’s future There is access to public education, the SUS public healthcare system and child benefits. There is a more stable structure for building a long-term family life. 2️⃣ A clear and legal path Permanent residency and citizenship are possible and attainable, especially for those with a Brazilian child or long-term residence — unlike in other countries where you remain “temporary” for life. 3️⃣ More humane labor laws There is a minimum wage, 13th-month pay, paid vacation, maternity rights and worker protection. Working here means having rights and security. 4️⃣ Greater protection for women and single mothers There are legal protections, social services and community support.
