Why am I choosing to stay in Brazil 🇧🇷 — for good?

Not because Brazil is perfect, but because here there is dignity, legality and a real future — especially for my children.

1️⃣ For my children’s future

There is access to public education, the SUS public healthcare system and child benefits. There is a more stable structure for building a long-term family life.

2️⃣ A clear and legal path

Permanent residency and citizenship are possible and attainable, especially for those with a Brazilian child or long-term residence — unlike in other countries where you remain “temporary” for life.

3️⃣ More humane labor laws

There is a minimum wage, 13th-month pay, paid vacation, maternity rights and worker protection. Working here means having rights and security.

4️⃣ Greater protection for women and single mothers

There are legal protections, social services and community support. It is not perfect, but you have rights and somewhere to turn to.

5️⃣ Multicultural and welcoming

Brazil is immigrant-friendly. Here, you can put down roots — not just survive temporarily.

There is work, food, freedom and the opportunity to study and start over, even as an adult.

As a single mother raising two sons, every decision I make is guided by their safety, education and long-term well-being. In Brazil, hard work is protected by law and immigrants are given a real chance to belong — to study, to work and to build a life legally.

My journey across different countries taught me resilience and courage. I have faced hardship, but I refuse to let my children inherit fear or uncertainty. Here, we can grow with hope.

Por que escolhi ficar no Brasil — para sempre?

Não porque o Brasil seja perfeito, mas porque foi aqui que encontrei dignidade, legalidade e um futuro real — especialmente para meus filhos.

No Brasil, há acesso à educação pública, ao sistema de saúde (SUS) e a benefícios sociais voltados às crianças. Existe uma base mais estável para construir uma vida familiar de longo prazo.

A residência permanente e a cidadania são reais e alcançáveis, especialmente para quem tem filho brasileiro ou histórico de residência prolongada — diferente de países onde o imigrante permanece eternamente “temporário”.
